I was born and raised at the ocean, learning my first lessons on leadership starting at the age of seven when I began working at my family’s store on the southern coast of Maine.

Back in those days, everyone always thought my unwavering passion for equality and justice would result in a run for public office, but instead it led me to DC where I started my career in field organizing, strategic planning, and leadership development. Since then, I’ve built a career that spans tech, fintech, corporate, non-profit, retail, operations, and hospitality organizations — always with people firmly at the center.

Through these experiences over the last twenty years, I have honed my skills as a courageous thought leader and coach, seeing and articulating the links between highly conceptual ideas and the actions needed to bring them to fruition.

Outside of work, I’m an outdoor enthusiast who can usually be found on a road trip through the mountains or along the coast… sometimes out in a barn, volunteering with rescued farm animals. I’m also a philanthropist and an art nerd; a storyteller and a story collector. A passionate anti-racist co-conspirator, and a human behavior geek. If you’re looking for me, chances are I’m out in the world looking for opportunities to demonstrate courage and live to tell about them.
